Hi, I’m Rachel! I grew up in the Grand Rapids area and am a proud Forest Hills Northern Husky – but I was raised a Wisconsin Badger. On top of being alumni, my Mom was a UW cheerleader and my Dad was none other than Bucky Badger himself, so it’s no surprise I ended up "across the pond" for college. I graduated in three years with a Communications degree and was heads down in a marketing role when I got a text from my Dad that said, “we need to talk."
He sat me down and invited me to join the Growtrust team – but like many kids, I didn’t have much of a clue what my Dad actually did for a living. That launched months of research, shadowing, and interviewing others in the profession. Each person I met lit up when describing the relationships they’d built and how rewarding their work was. So, I took the plunge — and quickly realized how right they were!
From weddings to newborns, career shifts to loss - we walk with clients through some of the most significant moments in their lives. We get to reassure them that they don’t need to have it all figured out — we’ll work through it together, one step at a time.
When I’m not nerding out about financial planning, I’m likely garage sale hunting, drinking French wine, wandering a farmer’s market, or soaking up the best of the Midwest seasons with my husband, Brennon, our son, Elias and dog, Scout.
